An exciting and a bit wired youth group experience with a multitude of opportunities to bring friends, build relationships, and grow in your relationship with God.  Join leaders and friends for fun-filled events that give you the opportunity to explore your faith through mission projects, scripture lessons, fellowship, and discussions on Christian ethics.  We also invite you to join us at 6:00 pm in Joe Wood Hall for dinner before youth group begins!

Here are just a few of our favorite yearly events…

Fall Kick-Off Hike: Family, friends, and congregation members join our youth for a beautiful afternoon hike outside of Quincy at Ancient Lakes.  After the hike we have pizza at the church!

Youth Sunday:  Each year our youth take over our church services for a day and add their own creative flare!  Last year the youth were passionate about helping our congregation become “green”.  Therefore they created a worship service all about becoming better stewards to our environment in observance of Earth Day.

Skate Ministry:  Once a year we head to Revolution Skate Park for an evening of skating, fellowship and an incredible message.

Mission Projects:  Throughout the year our youth participate in a variety of mission projects.  These projects include: mucking stalls at the Trusting Spirit Horse Rescue, deep-cleaning the nursery, doing yard work at the Mustard Seed Daycare Center, setting up teepee camp at Lazy F, preparing dinner for our congregation, etc.

Mystery Trip: During Winter Break our youth pack up their bags and hop on the church bus.  The location of the trip is always a secret but it’s definitely worth the gamble!  Last year we found our stop in Leavenworth, WA where we sledded and toured the downtown then headed to our host United Methodist Church for a night filled with games, prizes and team-building.

Junior High Retreat:  During the winter, our youth group heads to Lazy F Camp for a weekend-long retreat filled with fellowship with youth from all around the state, tubing, games, singing, small group activities, and more!

Symphony: Each year our youth are invited to sit in the very front row at the Wenatchee Symphony’s winter concert!  Everyone comes dressed to the 9’s as we join together for a delicious meal then head to Wenatchee High School for an evening filled with beautiful music.

Year-End Missions Retreat: We wrap-up the school year with a trip to Lazy F Camp where we camp out in tents for the weekend and help Lazy F Camp set-up their teepees for the summer.   While we’re there we also participate in portable ropes course activities, singing camp songs, worship around the campfire, hiking, and a tour of the camp.
