| Music
at First Church is an integral
part of our worship services. You will enjoy traditional
piano music at our 8:00 service. You will rock with the
contemporary Celebration Team at our 9:00
service or enjoy the classic sounds of the organ,
Sanctuary
Choir, and Bell Choir during the Classic Service at 10:30
a.m. We offer special musicians
throughout the year at both 9:00 and 10:30am services. To learn how you
can become involved contact our Choral Director, Tim Meyer

First Church
Sanctuary Choir
“I will sing to the Lord as long as
I live; I will sing praise to my God while
I have my being”
(Psalm 104:33)!
The Sanctuary Choir participates in the
10:30 traditional service from September to June and
presents a wide range of musical styles from classical to
country. Most of the choir members are seasoned veterans,
and many of them participate in other singing groups in the
community as well as at First Church.
First Church has been privileged to
have excellent choral leadership through the years. Gene
Huber, Richard Lapo, Margaret Licon, and Carol Whitbeck all brought their
particular strengths and styles to the choir. The choir is
accompanied by Susie Schell-Dietsch.
Tim Meyer
is our Choral Director
who continues our long
history of excellent worship music at First
Church.
The Sanctuary Choir meets Wednesday
nights (Sept.-May) from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Sanc tuary. Singers age 14
to 104 are welcome to join us at any time during the
season.
Contact
Tim Meyer to ask questions or become
involved.

First Church Agape
Ringers Bell Choir
“Let us make a joyful noise to
him with songs of praise” (Psalm 95:2)!
The Agape Ringers Bell Choir
participates in the Worship on a monthly basis
and performs frequently with the Sanctuary Choir. The
addition of the Agape Ringers adds a brilliant flare,
especially to the festive holiday services. The ensemble
includes 10-12 players. We recently purchased a fourth
octave. This adult
bell choir, like the Sanctuary Choir, is made up of
committed individuals who love to make beautiful music!
Susie Schell-Dietsch has been the
director since 2002. If you have music experience and can
read music (at least a little!), join the group on Monday
evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

Special Music
“Do your utmost to
present yourself to God approved, a workman who has no cause
to be ashamed, correctly interpreting the message of the
truth”
(2 Timothy 2:15).
Solos, duets, trios, etc. (instrumental
and vocal), are a thrilling way to be involved in the
worship of the church. It is expected that those
contributing in this way can prepare on their own, giving
God their very
best. By invitation. Contact
Tim Meyer to discuss your involvement.
