People
Throughout the year, First Church has many different
groups in which can connect with other people to grow your faith, care
for your soul and do God's work. |

COVENANT DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS
You are invited to become part of a covenant
group, which is a proven way to grow in your relationship with Jesus
Christ. The purpose of these groups is “to witness to Jesus Christ in
the world, and to follow his teachings through acts of compassion,
justice, worship and devotion, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.”
Contact the church office to learn more and to sign up for a group.

in 1995. The mission of the Lay School of Theology is to "Explore
Faith in Christian Community" and is guided by three concepts: theology,
community, and ministry. Participants are encouraged to develop their
own concepts and images of God, and to view the world through this
theological vision. Learn more.

short-term classes that take place during the Advent and Lenten Seasons.
