EVENTS CALENDAR 2008 }
Winter in Wenatchee is a wonderful time to meet friends at church on
Sunday mornings in our warm Sanctuary and on Wednesday evenings for our
dinners and classes.
First Church offers events throughout the year like youth lock-ins,
knitting sweaters for children, prayer shawl ministry and more!
Lenten Classes offer a wide variety of topics like "Words of Jesus,"
"The Artist's Way," and "When God's People Pray."
First Church new outdoor worship has bloomed. Join us beginning Memorial
Day weekend through Labor Day at Centennial Park in Downtown Wenatchee.

May 3rd is our Faith@Work mission day -

for more information. May 11 is "Blanket Sunday" - A $5 donation
provides one blanket to a person in need. Donations were accepted
April 27 and May 4.
Outdoor Worship begins at Centennial Park Downtown Wenatchee (bring lawn
chairs and visors) and 9:00 Service combines with 10:30 for our second
service at 10:30am for the summer. See you there!
June 7th is Faith@Work Recycling Day at
church parking lot.
Bring your recyclables between 9am and noon.
June 8 is Mariachi Band at the Outdoor Service!
June 22 is Kara Hunicutt & Friends at the Outdoor Service!
June 29 is Tracy Warner Combo at the Outdoor Service!

Outdoor worship is in full swing. Bring your blanket,
breakfast snacks, and join us in Centennial Park in downtown Wenatchee
right across from Davis Furniture 8:30am every Sunday.
August will find "Common Bond", "Appleaires," Women's Choral Group and
"Confluence Octet," adult vocal ensemble at the Outdoor Worship service
at Centennial Park Downtown 8:30am.
Fall Kickoff is always an exciting time of year at First Church when the
kids are back in school and church programs are gearing up for another
terrific year of worship, classes, Sunday School, more!
Fall brings new classes and wonderful mission opportunities right here
in our own community!
We're looking forward to our Thanksgiving meals again this year. Plan to
help by donating food when it's time, or offer to help deliver meals!
Advent is a special time in the life of the church. Watch for
interesting classes, events and worship services!
